SURFACE PREPARATION
For already treated or surfaces in a bad condition it is important to completely remove the old paint-cycle to the bare surface.

Steel: recommended grit blasting SSPC – SP – 10 (SA 2 ½ - ISO 8501-1/3) or disk grinding SSPC – SP – 3 (ST3 - ISO 8501-1/3) as an alternative. Cover the treated metal with primer to the standard mentioned above and before the latter presents signs of oxidation or colour variation.
Aluminium: sand with coarse grit disks (mecanical disking) or alternatively sanding treatment: the superficial layer of metal must be renewed completely and uniformally, removing all former oxidation.
Wood: stain the surface with one coat of Polywood, having previously sanded with grit n. P60-P80 and having cleaned the area.  Sand the surface with abrasive grit  P150-P180.
Gel coat: degrease with Sirio, rinse and sand the surfaces with abrasive grit n. P120-P150.

APPLICATION CONDITIONS
To avoid the formation of condensation, the temperature of the surface should be at least 3 °C above dew point. During the application and curing the min. ambient temperature should be 10 °C, or higher than 30° C; substrate temperature must not be lower than 5° C since curing is reduced at lower temperatures. Application is not advisable when relative humidity exceeds 80%. The thermo-hygrometric survey should be carried out near the surface to be coated. It is important to be sure there is sufficient ventilation when the application takes place in closed areas.

SAFETY RULES
In order to protect personal health it is advisable to comply with the EU DPR 303 and 547 regulations. Avoid, for example any contact of the product with the skin and eyes. Use in well ventilated areas,in enclosed areas use aspirators, fans and air ventilators. Wear masks, goggles, gloves while applying the product.

NOTE
The applied product must not come in contact with water, chemical products or submitted to mechanical stress before the curing is completed. The wet film thickness refers to an undiluted product. In case of dilution, this value increases.
