Permanently plastic sealant that is used wherever extreme pressure resistance is required and is suitable for the perfect seal of metal to metal and plastic to plastic. Product is particularly effective for hermetically sealing flanges subject to vibrations.
Typical applications of HYLOMAR® are the sealing of water and oil pumps, cylinder heads and oil pans, intake manifolds and engines, transmission components and switch housings and wires. The sealant is resistant against a wide variety of fluids, including fuels, oils, water, salt solutions, air, grease.

Highly adhesive permanent elastic sealant based on polyurethane. Thanks to its high thermal, mechanical and chemical resistance, this sealant is particularly suitable for sealing highly stressed joint points. The sealant is resistant, among other things, to all mineral oils and a variety of synthetic oils and fuels, as well as water, water-based antifreeze mixtures and many other substances. Excellent adhesion on sealing surfaces, rapid implementation, universal applicability for various seals, permanent plasticity, easy disassembly, corrosion resistance and economy in consumption. Thermal stability is -50 to 250°C (for short periods up to +300°C).
Instructions for Use:
Degrease the sealing surfaces. Apply Hylomar on both sides. Proceed with assembly after the solvent has evaporated (approx. 10 minutes). Tighten the screws again after 10-15 minutes. In the case of flat sanded surfaces it is sufficient to apply the product on one side only. Close the tube tightly after use.
Note: it can be stored indefinitely at room temperature (approx. 18 °C) and with the tube closed.
