DESCRIPTION:
HEMPEL'S UNDERWATER PRIMER 26030 is a fast drying underwater primer containing aluminium flakes. For use as a sealer onto old antifouling or as a tiecoat over an epoxy primed surface before antifouling.

RECOMMENDED USE:
Suitable on glass fibre, wood and steel. For use on all areas below the waterline including keels.

SURFACE PREPARATION:
Always ensure all surfaces are clean, oil free and dry. Remove all impurities with HEMPEL'S YACHT CLEANER 67601, followed by a high-pressure cleaning with fresh water. Remove the flaking paint  and other residues. Allow the wood to dry, sand and remove all dust. Touch-up with HEMPEL UNDERWATER PRIMER 26030.

PRODUCT APPLICATION:
The surface must be completely clean and dry. Surface temperature must be above dew point to avoid condensation. In confined spaces provide adequate ventilation during application and drying.

NOTES:
If the surface has been exposed to pollutants, before recoating wash the surface thoroughly with a jet of fresh water at high pressure or with a jet of fresh water by rubbing with a stiff brush and allowing to dry.
